Brisbane Football (Soccer) Tables
Australia Cup 1962-1968
Why are these results here? In 2014 the FFA Cup commenced, the first national cup competition after a 16 year hiatus. This led to increased interest in Australia's previous national cup competitions, the Australia Cup (1962-1968) and the NSL Cup (1977-1997). From my initial research, there appeared to be no publication, online or otherwise, listing complete Australia Cup results. This I believe to be a significant gap in Australian football history. Therefore, I have undertaken the research to locate all Australia Cup results, and present them on this website. Results will be added progressively over the next few weeks. Research to fill in the remaining gaps is ongoing. Andrew Robinson, Brisbane, 8 June 2016 |

* In 1968, one account has Willie Rutherford scoring two goals in the second leg of the final. If so, he also scored 4 goals in the competition.
* In 1968, the goal scorers in Perth Azzurri's Round One game vs. West Adelaide Hellas are unknown. Nina Segon (3 goals) and John Van Oosten (2 goals) may join or surpass 4 goals in the competition when this information is uncovered.
