First-grade teams are listed in bold.
After this season, the Queensland Soccer Federation (QSF) and the Queensland Soccer Football Association (QSFA) merged, with the QSF taking over the future running of Queensland soccer.
The clubs of the Brisbane & Ipswich SFA joined QSF competitions in 1964. Following the regular season, a Unity Series was contested between QSF and QSFA clubs to determine the composition of the 1964 State League.
